Rental Information
Thank you for your interest in the Viewing Room, a space for reflection and gathering - a hybrid of a gallery, exhibition space, and event venue. The Viewing Room is conveniently located in Dewberry Gallery at One Peachtree Pointe, bringing the arts, culture, and creative events to one location in the heart of Midtown.
Gail Foster & Thomas Swanston have enriched the arts community in Atlanta for over 30 years with their continuous support of not only the visual arts, but theatre, dance, and music. During that time, they have been full-time visual artists with artwork in private collections nationally and internationally. It is their goal to provide a space for artists, patrons, and organizations in the community to gather and appreciate the arts. Gail Foster, Thomas Swanston, and the StudioSwan team invite you to host at our venue for your special event.

Rental Guideline
Location – the Viewing Room at Dewberry Gallery

Capacity – Maximum capacity 49
Exhibitions – Artwork may vary dependent on current exhibition and changes every 30-45 days
Non-profit organizations – We provide a discounted rental fee for eligible non-profit events, must provide a copy of 501 (c) (3). Please call for rates.
Event Parking – Valet parking is required for after hours events at One Peachtree Pointe. Valet Service is provided by National Parking. Contact StudioSwan to schedule valet for your event.
Alcohol Consumption – Alcohol may be served at the Viewing Room. We reserve the right to close the bar should the staff deem it necessary to protect the facility and safety of individuals. Bartenders will be professional and will obey the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages
Set-up & Breakdown – Set up for your event must be approved by StudioSwan prior to event, including decorations, scheduling of deliveries, etc. StudioSwan is not responsible for any items left on the premises.
Application Procedure – Upon completion of the agreement, a 50% initial rental fee deposit must be submitted with the application with the addition of the damage/cleaning deposit. The balance of the rental fee and all other fees will be due 21 days (or three (3) weeks) before the date of the rental. All checks are to be made payable to StudioSwan.
Event Time – Event rental hours are Monday – Saturday 6:30 pm – 12:00 a.m. The renter should distinguish between event closing time and gallery closing time and plan accordingly. Event ending time means the time clean-up begins, music stops playing, and the bar closes. Gallery closing time is when all persons are out of the building. In the event the renter should need or want to extend those hours, prior approval is required and an additional fee of $500.00 per hour will be applied.
Event Rental Fees - Standard Event Rental Fee $1,800
Staffing Fee $350.00
*Damage/Cleaning Deposit $500.00
*Damage/Cleaning deposit is refundable after event, contingent upon gallery space returned to original condition.
Insurance Requirements
Liability insurance is required for liability resulting from damage to the gallery property during the event. It is a Certificate of Liability Insurance with StudioSwan LLC as the certificate holder. You can obtain the certificate through your own insurance provider.
